First Course
Before We File Your Case
The first course is called Pre-Filing Credit Counseling. When you register for the class put in our attorney code, ALLENHICKEY, and the agency will email the certificate(s) to us.
You may take your class via the internet or by telephone. Internet is the least expensive and the method that most of our clients use. MoneySharp charges $10.00 for the internet course, whether an individual or joint session. The fee listed is current as of January 12, 2021. The course takes about 90 minutes to complete. If you prefer to take your class by telephone, you will find a number of approved agencies that provide telephone classes on the list of Approved Credit Counseling Agencies for the District of Kansas. Please note: We suggest MoneySharp because, as of last check, it offered the lowest price for both courses. However, a certificate for credit counseling from any agency listed on the Approved Credit Counseling Agencies for the District of Kansas is fine.
